EU Project E-BUSINESS LT

        UAB "Galvanta" completed the implementation of the project "Increasing the competitiveness and export of UAB "Galvanta" by implementing advanced information technologies".

        UAB "Galvanta" has successfully completed the implementation of the project "Increasing the competitiveness and export of UAB "Galvanta" by implementing advanced information technologies" (project No. VP2-2.1-ŪM-02-K-02-155).

        For the implementation of this project, the E-Business LT company was granted up to LTL 42,154.00 from the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union in accordance with the VP2-2.1-ŪM-02-K measure of the Economic Growth Action Program priority 2 "Increasing business productivity and improving the environment for business" (up to 50.00%) EU support.

        For more than 14 years, the metal processing company Galvanta UAB has specialized in serving Lithuanian and other European companies in the field of anti-corrosion, decorative and technical metal processing. The company pays a lot of attention to the modernization of the available technological equipment and the development of export markets.

        Before the implementation of the project, management and accounting of the company’s business processes were carried out with the help of an accounting program. The functionality of this program was limited, more applicable for accounting purposes. Meanwhile, in order to maintain competitiveness in the period of economic hardship, accurate production planning, management of individual metalworking orders and non-standard equipment production projects, efficient loading of equipment and use of human resources are particularly relevant. For this, a specialized tool is necessary, which would automate and link the internal and external processes of the company into an integrated whole, enabling to increase production productivity and reduce operating costs in the company.

        Taking this into account, an investment project was initiated, the main goal of which is to increase the company’s work productivity, sales and export volumes by implementing a specialized e-business system for managing production and operational processes. During the project, a specialized production management IT system was installed, which is fully adapted to the specifics of the company’s production activities, enables efficient planning of the company’s resources, and ensures effective planning and control of the company’s activities.
